We know that you think you don’t want to watch more hot twentysomethings hook up with each other in a beautiful villa — Winter Love Island and Love Is Blind already gave you that dopamine fix — but we also know that you probably won’t be able to resist the allure of Netflix’s new show Too Hot To Handle when the clock strikes nine and you’ve already binged all the shows you planned to watch over the weekend.
Don’t resist. Now is not the time to be picky about the content you consume and, actually, this new iteration of perfect bodies kissing, scrapping and slopping mud all over each other we’re not kidding is the best of the bunch. How does Too Hot To Handle trump its predecessors? It’s premise of cooping sex-obsessed singles in a luxury pad and then banning them from any form of sexual contact for a month goes a long way when it comes to driving the narrative.

Not only are they truly desperate to get married, they’re also being quarantined because of exposure to the Coronavirus. In the sketch, as the “stars” of the reality show get to know each other, nurses and doctors administer medication and workers in hazmat suits confiscate their contaminated glasses. The quarantined dating show, much like on Netflix’s source-material, culminates with contestants meeting in person and a proposal.

The duo have then been pairing up couples in the pods, 24 contestants in 12 pods and they are all swapped around. Each night is a new season and according to their Instagram profile which is set up in real time for fans to follow along they are recruiting for season three aka day three.
